
Jack began his aviation career while attending Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado and was able to finish his degree while working as a flight instructor. During this time he acquired experience with the Cessna dealer’s organization and Cessna Pilot training program.
Following college Jack was fortunate to spend several years as a technical writer and editor with Jeppesen-Sanderson Company as they were developing the Cessna Pilot Center Commercial and Instrument courses. During this same time the company was contracting with Beech Aircraft, which gave Jack a unique experience of working with two major airframe manufacturers.
During his instructing career, Jack has compiled in excess of 13,000 hours flight time with over 9,000 hours as a flight instructor. In addition, Jack has taught countless industry courses and has experience as an instructor with Regis University. Jack holds a bachelors degree in Vocational- Technical Education from Colorado State University, as well as a Master in Business Administration from Regis College. Jack is most proud of his thirty-five years as a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner.

Don grew up in agriculture and comes from a family of Colorado homesteaders. He started his flight training in 1998 at the Fort Collins Downtown Airport (3V5). Don earned numerous ratings including his instructors certificate in 2002. He began his career with The Flying School in 2006 accumulating over 3000 hours total flight time and over 2500 hours instructing. Don felt that learning to fly was one of the greatest things he'd done for himself and became an instructor so that others could experience the same.Don spends his free time with his wife and son and farming with his family.

Dan's flying career started in his former home state of Indiana in 1990. Within one year, flying out of Valparaiso, Indiana he had earned both Private Pilot and Instrument ratings while working as a technician and business manager in an eye clinic.
Upon moving to Colorado in 1993 and as owner of the Mountain Shop in Fort Collins he continued flying for business and pleasure in his Cessna 182. After leaving retailing as his second career he earned his Commercial and Flight Instructor certificates at The Flying School in 2008. Presently Dan's experience includes over 3000 total hours and 900 hours teaching.
Dan lives in a straw bale timber framed home north of Wellington on the prarie with his wife Jennifer and their two dogs and 5 chickens. When not living his dream job of flying Dan skiis, whitewater canoes and hikes.

Tim began flying in 1999. He started instructing in the fall of 2002. Then in April of 2004 he became a member of the Cirrus Standardized Instructor Program (CSIP).This certification allows Tim to provide Initial, Transition, and Recurrent training in Cirrus aircraft. When his is not flying Tim enjoys working on his ranch where he raise miniature horses, donkeys, and mules as well as hay, corn, and barley, with his family.
