AeroCamp is designed to give young people a unique opportunity to explore the vast and exciting world of aviation and aerospace at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport. Campers will have several ground school sessions including dynamics of flight and the basics of flight planning just to name a few. They will also have the opportunity to fly twice (weather permitting) in one of our aircraft with a licensed instructor! The camp is geared towards a STEM based curriculum and will consist of several presentations from professionals in various aspects of aviation.

Some topics that will be covered are:

  • Airport traffic patterns and radio calls
  • Basic aeronautical chart usage
